But how to fix the Xbox 360 wired or wireless Controller not working on Windows 10/11 is far beyond your capacity.
It is conceivable that you are very upset about its failing to work or sometimes, it is detected by Windows 10 but not configured when you are combating in a game. However, at the same time, you must be familiar with the scene that when you were playing the computer games, the Xbox 360 Controller suddenly stops working or works with a blinking / freezing buttons or cannot connect to the console.
I brought it back to the pc and it seems like all it did was just install the same updated driver from windows 10 (what else was i expecting)Īnd i'm already too attached to my xbox one controller over the 360 controller.Īnd i never was a fan of playstations controller since PSone. As Xbox 360 Controller passionate lovers, you can enjoy the great convenience it brings you. I also tried someone's advice about updating the controller through the xbox one. I also tried using 3rd party controller map apps like Pinnacle Game Profiler but it's not working out for me. Sure, this reinstalling driver issue each time i play these games is only taking about 5-15secs out of my time. Now i try the OPs method on this thread, and it seems like I'm just reinstalling the same old driver that only works for XIII but not for any other game i play.
So i re-updated the contrller driver for other games, only to go back to the same problem with XIII (obviously). Then i follow the tip from someone else of installing an older driver,Īnd while that worked for Final Fantasy XIII, it remapped other buttons for every other game. Then the controller only worked for like one button press then nothing registers. I re-activate the controller and confirm the save slot i want to load and it never loses connection again after the loading screen and once the game loads. After i re-activate the controller and i press which save game to load, it stops again. (it's weird how the only time the controller stops registering is at the menu for me.Īs soon as i click "load game", it stops. Now i dont have to reinstall drivers back and forth. Just rapidly press both triggers (like dual wield pistols).Īctually i dont know if it has to be both triggers, by why not. Whenever the controller stops registering button commands, FIX - FINALLY!!! i tried another person's advice from this thread and it works.
